Back again with another illustration this week.  This week’s art is of “Don Draper” of AMC’s “Mad Men”, one of my favorite shows on television.  The show is a great blend of the dramatic advertising world within a 1960’s setting.  John Hamm’s character Don Draper (or clandestinely Dick Whitman) plays the role of patriarch of the Madison Avenue advertisement firm Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce.  After a 17-month hiatus between seasons 4 & 5, Mad Men is back in the mix as one of television’s most entertaining programs.

Here is my take on Don Draper, with his notorious quote “If you don’t like the conversation, change it.”, “incorporating a vintage advertisement poster feel.  I enjoyed the process for this piece and may extend it to more members of the show’s cast.  Stay tuned to find out!
